Well I am sick as a dog and getting sicker. Damn "bug" going around. It is not the flu though. I had the shot for that. I swear by the flu shot every year.

This is just a bug that starts in your sinuses and works it's way down into your chest....that is what it is doing today.

The "Bird Flu" is no joke....that can get real nasty. We are so over due for a pandemic.

Wow that is not good Dood I hope you feel better soon. I feel alright for today my cold is starting to get less and less annoying everyday. Defiently not a fun thing to have but a part of life. Stood up a couple of times a little bit to fast and had to sit back down cause i got to lightheaded to stand. The Bird Flu is suppose to be real nasty. Hopefully no one on here gets it unless maybe you deserve it. Sounds like either Echo is having hallucinations or someone really was there. Either way I would try to figure out who they were as well.

Thanks I pwnd U....when I get sick....I get SICK! *sigh* Suprisingly my back pain medicine really helps with this bug. Really knocks down the coughing and mellows out allot of the aches & pains. Mrs Dood (the Nurse Rachet in my life) scolds me for that....silly Nurse Woman!

I'm just keeping a close friend closer, if you know what I mean. I've been meaning to instal some new dead-bolts locks and charley bars anyways. (A charley bar is for sliding-glass doors.)

EDIT-

On a side note.. I just finished a bag of Doridos. Did I eat them or wipe my face with them? I feel like urking.

heHe...Doritos!! Man I remember eating those things 30 years ago. I was poor and did this construction job. Well since I had little money I would buy a bag of those (like $.49 back then) and then a tub of cottage cheese. I would dip my Doritos in the cottage cheese. Sounds gross...but it did the hunger trick quite well. Washed it down with a big bottle of Coke. ($.25)

You get sick often Dood. Or at least during this time of year.

Yes...I usually get sick in Jan-March. Just depends on the year. Some years I actually miss it...dunno why. I am sure it is my kids that do it to me. This year my wife and daughter got sick about a month ago. I avoided them completely. I dodged that bullet. Then I went to the doctor last Monday for my OMT (Back Crack) and there were all these sick people there....that is how I got it this year.

A couple of years ago I got my Flu shot in September....I will never get it that early again. I got the Flu in March....hit me hard! No matter how many times I have had the Flu once you get it again...you say to yourself. "I can't believe I am this sick...I am feeling like I am gonna DIE!"

You know this is just a long shot but perhaps sitting in the same damn chair for multiple hours a day as opposed to getting exercise, and maybe a proper diet (which a lot of computer-goers often lack) is the reason for such problems?

Seriously we always get sick and then I wonder if the whole, sitting here in the chair all day has anything to do with it. Maybe they should make a vitamin specifcally for peoples addicted to their PCs.

Pie the only reason I am posting so much is because I am sick and have nothing else to do... Does anyone know what the worry zone for a fever is ???

If you're pushing 160 degrees F, be worried.

over 100 F is something you want to keep an eye on. it might even be worth going to a doctor's office over if its that high.

Actually when you get over 102 degrees you better take care of it. Drink PLENTY of water...even to the point of you can't anymore. Take tylenol or advil...to keep the temps down.

Above 105 degrees you start to go into shut down...and can DIE!
